Have to think that with Cecconi not starting tomorrow it looks like we may get the MLB debut from #Guardians LHP prospect Parker Messick who was set to start for Columbus at Rochester Wednesday.

No one has hit well in the second spot; Bo was in a hot streak, until he moved up to 2nd

Martinez had a habit [last year] the two times he arrived in the majors of starting out hot and cooling off dramatically. 8-49 since May 9 may be repeating the trend. 2 doubles one homer; 11 strikeouts 2 walks; during that period.

We got ahead today!
And stayed ahead until the 4th
Now down 3-1 in the 6th
And why was Kwan removed from the game?

we've managed 8 hits, drawn 3 walks, and had one hit in 9 tries with RISP. by Jose Ramirez of all people in the first inning. Everyone has has failed to deliver since then.
Red letter day for Daniel Schneemann: received his first major league intentional walk!

Nolan Jones with his 2nd hit of the day; but thrown out trying for second as was Jose in the first inning. Since Jose doubled an out later it could have been another run
At least Carlos delivered an RBI to cut Dodgers lead to 4-2 after Walters and Herrin combined for a run in the top of the 7th

What a win.

Good to see Allard get the start. He's been good all year long and has MLB starting experience.

And some of the downtrodden guys (ha) contribute finally. Nolan Jones, Jhonk.

Great game by Angel - we have our CF. The guy can range and can throw. And he can hit - at least til this point.

Eric Saabrowsi's first rehab appearance in Arizona; faced 5 batters, walked 3 of them

Tristan McKenzie's first appearance in Arizona: faced 10 batters--- struck out 3; walked 4; hit one; threw a wild pitch; allowed a homerun

Walters injury last night reminded me of my lunch buddy at YSU Dave Dravecky when he broke his arm throwing a pitch.

I didn't see what happened; did it look severe?

I'm sure none of you thought this was a lost cause down 4-1 and then 5-2. But a Jose homer; a Kwan homer; and an Arias 2 run double; plus 2024 quality bullpen gave us a 7-5 win. Clase with a nice easy 1-2-3 9th for his 12th save. He's back up to 5th in the AL and allowed 1 earned run in May over 10 2/3 innings. 5 hits. 2 walks. 10 strikeouts.

The injury to Walters was very bad. Immediate pain and tears. Could be out for a year or more.
