He struck out the side, but gave up 2 hits and a run. 3-0, Tigers.

gotta love that Vmart beat CC there. CC of course showed up small for us. Hopefully he will opt out of his yankees contract in a few weeks.

Come on Tigers......

for tonight only.

I'd really be surprised if Theo Epstein elects to go with Sandy Alomar. As a former member of the White Sox, he made sense there as a possible choice. I don't see Boston going for a guy who has only been a catching instructor and two season first base coach.

I'll offer a similar defense for Sandy as I do when I advocate for Barry Bonds.

Both were great ballplayers and great athletes even before roids enhanced their pictures.

Sounding like being in CT is giving you a tad of Yankee love?

If so, that's OK. JR likes the Red Sox. :-}

And Steve Swisher's kid leaves the bases loaded.

Good ballgame.

Not sure that anyone could say that I am a Yankees fan as I have frequently gone to both the old and new stadiums wearing tribe gear applauding loud hard and standing up in front of the other idiots who are paying those exorbitant prices as I root on dolan's AAAA team. I would love to be down there tonight wearing the Tigers jacket.
