Did anyone note the Gs with 3 homers only 1by Jose and they win a game!
Civale allowed 6 runs
Hentges and Stephan and Clase were effective

Is it true? Been watching NFL draft.

G's came from behind and scored 9 runs?

Will wonders never cease.

Happy days are here again. :D

Class A on Saturday:

At Low A Lynchburg, Fox with a single and 2 walks; Tolentino a single 3 walks and his 4th steal; OF Burgos 2 singles; OF Druago 2 singles and 5ht steal
20th round RH Jake Miller with 4 shutout innings 9 strikeouts

Lake County split a pair.
Another excellent start for Gavin Williams 6 1 0 0 1 5.
Another lousy start for 2nd round pick Nikhazy 4 7 4 4 2 5
Noel with his 5ht homer
Gabrl Rod with a hit in the one game he played 359
Petey Halpin talented OF one of the youngest in the league a walk and a single and a steal for the day; only hitting 202

in the upper levels

Will Benson singled twice and walked twice; I suppose he will not ever make it, but he's only 23 and is not a total bust. Ceiling may be that of Brad Zimmer [who is hitting below 100 for the Blue Jays and I assume very much at risk when rosters shrink in a day or two]
Arias with a 3 run homer, but he's hitting only 206. Not likely to be returning to Cleveland quickly

Tobias Meyers continues to pitch pretty unsuccessfully: 3 2/3 5 3 3 1 2 He's on the 40 man; I assume that spot is secure; someone will have to go to make room for De Los Santos, Castro more likely to be let go I suppose]

Kyle McCarty who got an emergency callup with another good AAA outing: 5 1/3 5 1 1 1 3.

Akron won their game; Jose Tena is getting hot, triple and single, he's up to 263, 651 OPS reflects very walks and few xb hits
Rocchio with his 3rd homer and a walk; hitting only 221 but his OPS is 714
Valera hitless slips to 226 and 772
speedy Bo Naylor with a single and his 6th steal; 240 756. A lot better than his first AA season.

Excellent outing by somewhat overlooked 1.5 round 2020 pick Tanner Burns: 5 4 1 0 1 6 1.53 ERA
He'd slot behind Espino and Williams and Allen but he's another serious prospect as a big league starter in 2023 or 24.

Nice work by Clevinger, not so great by Plesac, who walked 2 in the first, allowed a 2 run Machado homer in the 3rd. Kwan with an rbi single.
Ramirez keeps getting walked and Miller needs to deliver, Clevinger leaves with 2 out in the 5th and 2 on again for Miller

Clevinger leaves and of the 6 we received for him tie the score: Miller walks to load the bases; Naylor singles to score two and even the score.

Plesac quickly reciprocating: a lead off double, then a single; then the hook. Enyel de los Santos enters. He's not particularly good but he has good stuff. Let's see if he can hold them on.

of course not. down 2 again, 5-3 in the 6th.

cut the lead to 1 but could have done better, in the 7th: Miller single, Naylor double, Rosario ground out scores one. Giminez ground out ends it.

Hentges 2 perfect innings, he's looking very good in the bullpen.

game two rally for 3 runs ties the game in the 8th: 2 out rbi singles by Giminez, Hedges! and pinch hitter Naylor.

Very nice team rally to tie and win. RBI singles from lots of guys with Kwan getting the game winner.
Even Reyes had an RBI single in the opener.
Small ball can work if lots of guys can hit.

To be honest the pitching has been no better than the hitting so far. Civale ERA over 10. Plesac and Quantrill both walked too many yesterday.

Was present for the 1st game yesterday. Was really surprised by the
Batting averages in the lineup. Just need string the hits better.
Couldn't stay for 2nd game.
