This is just a team with not a lot of room for error offensively. If a couple of them slump it's a long day at bat.
Lance Lynn, last outing, pitched a complete game. He's licking his chops staring at another one here at this rate.

Irony of it all Bauers actually got the double.

But while I was away:
Jose with a 2 run homer for a 2-1 lead.
Bauer with ANOTHER hit, following Naylor hit and Giminez ground out RBI 3-1
bottom of 7. Wittgren in for Civale to start the inning

Hernandez single; wild pitch; throwing error by reigning AL MVP on ground ball by reigning runner up leads to run No. 4

Overcame some buffoonery by Gimenez and Naylor late in this game.
Those 2 need to buy dinners for Karinchak and Clase for bailing them out.

Bobby Bradley waits a little longer.
Maybe Gamel out the door before Jake; it's an exciting competition to watch

Hoynes had noted something like 25 RBI in a row only on homers? Maybe I'm off; that was before yesterday; so how did it go on Thursday?
2 run homer
ground out drives in a run
run scores on an error
team RISP 1-13

With the error binge by Jose Abreu at 1B it just shows the value of putting a ball in play. Stuff happens.

Great to see Amed Rosario hit one out for his first with the Tribe. I'd love for him to get consistent at bats.

I'd love to see anyone single with bases loaded or men on second snd third
Despite the score they actually could have made a game of this early

SAM HENTGES
SP, CLEVELAND INDIANS
Indians recalled LHP Sam Hentges from their alternate training site.
Hentges has yet to appear in a major-league contest, is a hard-throwing southpaw that can soak up some innings as a member of the Indians' bullpen. He needs to improve his control, but he should be able to contribute at the big-league level moving forward.

After that brain cramp by Naylor with 2 outs in the 9th Bauers at 1B doesn't look so bad after all.

Interesting they don't consider the extra-inning-runner-at-second that scores an earned run.
O. Perez gets the loss but not an earned run.

These guys are really in a pickle. A pitching and defense team with issues at CF, RF and 1B.
And by the way I thought Franmil did just fine in RF. He does have an arm.
