With a belief we'll be back in first place by next Friday, I bought my tix today for 2 of the 3 games in San Francisco next weekend.

Standing Room Only tix for $20 and $24 respectively with The Giants "day to day market price change" in demand for each game.

There are actually upper deck seats available, but with SRO I can perch and lean behind the right field and right center field bleachers.....not all that far from the field.

How about we do the "June Swoo" and only tank for part of the month?

Tribe won't get out of June above .500.

From 30-15 to 35-30.

Newton would be proud.

Acta said after the game that he didn't think Verlander came close to no-hitting the Tribe last night.

I guess to fix the situation we just need to get rid of the manager and the hitting coach.

You must be right Rusty, since they were the causes of the hitting and winning earlier on.

Even though they are dropping like a rock, who would have thunk the Indians would be 5 games over 500 on June 15th.

Not me!

I imagine there will be some way to right the ship sooner (I hope) than later and play somewhere near 500 ball, or at least 400 ball!, the rest of the way. Maybe the Hafner return will psych up the whole team.

Carmona starting tonight. Carmona, Choo, and Sizemore are all head cases.

Players who cannot control their emotions in pressure situations are not the players you want leading your club.

You want your best players to be the coolest under pressure.

This is true from Little League to the Major Leagues.

Santana seems cool. I wish he would start hitting.

LaPorta seems cool.

Tomlin is cool.

Carrasco is cooling under pressure which causes him to heat up as a performer -- was famous for letting a game get away from him with a big inning; he avoided that very nicely Monday night.

Indians third base prospect Lonnie Chisenhall is being held out of the lineup with Triple-A Columbus due to a mild concussion/whiplash injury suffered on a slide into third base last week.
Chisenhall hasn't played since Saturday. The 22-year-old is only batting .250 with five homers and .734 OPS this season and has really struggled against left-handed pitching, so we're more likely to see teammate Jason Kipnis make his major league debut first.

A few on the Major League club need to develop a mystery injury, go on the DL and rehab in the minors.

Oops! I have to sneeze......Ah Choo!!

Should get a complete eye check. Losing balls in the sun on cloudy days and swinging at pitches that bounce three feet in front of the plate obviates the need.

Kipnis was ahead of Chisenhall anyway, as Paul Hoynes knows, including outhitting Lonnie by about 40 points. Kipnis tripled twice last night, giving him 3 three-baggers. Which must be result of gap hitting and good speed; and/or OF's who lose ball in lights, fall down, and crash into walls.
