Well the good news is Hand, Wittgren, and Cimber didn’t have to pitch yesterday. Should have a bullpen ready to go again.

I gotta say, one thing I have always disagreed with Tito about is not having a guy in the pen that can be a long man and an emergency starter. When a double header occurs and you have a bullpen game or a starter gets knocked out early it can really burn your pen up for a few days.

Look at the job Dobnak did out of the pen for them last night. Ate up 4 innings. Shutout innings were gravy. Their full pen is ready to go now. Didn’t hurt them at all in that regard.

I'll be cringing early on but hopefully Plutko finds a way to keep it going.

If you can make up an 11 and 1/2 game deficit anything is possible. Certainly could be a high scoring game and that would be in our favor most likely since we have the better bullpen.
