Another great outing by Civale tonight. 6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K.

His first start he pitched 6 shutout innings, 2 hits, 6 K.

Good riddance Salazar. Don't need your crap anymore.

How could Civale be the Indians 20th ranked prospect ? Those lists are terrible.

Also, recent righty reliever acquisition, Hunter Wood, made his Tribe debut tonight and looked good. 2 K's. 95 MPH fastball that he could spot well.

I just did a search, a few weeks ago I posted a quick top prospect list of my own, and had Civale ranked 7th.

In September of 2017 I did my own prospect list and had Civale ranked 8th.

Just a reminder we know more about our players than guys at Baseball America or whatever.

I think before the game I heard Jensen Lewis say Goody had 10 straight scoreless innings. Make it 12.

That is the best Hand has looked for a while. His fastball even had more velocity. (his velocity has been down an average of 1 MPH from last year. Had been throwing around 93 this year. Today he was throwing 95)

Plesac certainly seems to be the real deal.

1st and 3rd with no outs and we were damn lucky to score a run. If Gibson hadn't thrown a ball away to 1st base trying to keep Jose close we wouldn't have. K for Kip and double play for Reyes.
