AJ Cole's career numbers before we go him were truly abysmal; up there with Josh Tomlin in HR allowed territory [31 homers in career 148 innings; 15 in 48 last year] He had been surprisingly acceptable for a month, but now I guess the real AJ has come to the fore

civ - I do remember Cole on the Nationals, I do believe he was very much a starting pitcher there. Lucas Giolito is another one who was a starter on the Nats and sucked - but now look at him.

I think the Tribe thinks his stuff might play better in the bullpen. And they HAVE been right, until today.

For now I would use him in less leverage situations than today...but he does seem to have an arm that might be trained to improve.

Naquin has barely played against lefties this year. Tonight might be his second start? Off top of my head, may be wrong. But he has 18 at bats. Just hit his 2nd home run against lefties.

We were down 5-2. Then Naquin and Luplow homers. Then Perez hits an RBI single. All tied up now in 7th.
