For anybody not watching STO ... Martin failed to cut the ball off in the gap. It tipped off his glove, then he missed the cut off man. His throw was way wide of 3rd. More or less handed Andrus a triple. (a solid CF'er cuts that ball off, IMO) He then scored on a pitch in dirt.

Then a ball was hit to wall in CF. Not an easy play but a good CF'er would have caught it. Gift double.

After the inning STO showed an altercation in dugout. Lindor was pointing in his face yelling at him. Jose had to step in between them.

1b/dh Santana plays everyday; Bradley plays lots with Bauers slipping down here vs some RH

That would deprive Tito of one of his many relievers. But I think they can get by with 7 in the pen. If he insists on 8 they lose Allen who's the only legit CF to sub for Mercado although Naquin is available

For those not watching, Santana was on 1B, and Jose pops to 2B, (1 out).

Jose loafs to 1B and Odor intentionally lets it drop. Throws it to first base and gets Jose - and then they easily retire Santana who had to hang by 1B.

Not their day so far, that's for sure.

I dunno how Lindor keeps from slapping the piss out of all of them.

Bieber started off badly today, well, with the (no)help of the defense. But has really settled down to have a nice day now.

8th and Rangers go ahead 3-1. AJ Cole getting hit hard - first a long flyout that Martin (yes, again) this time caught.

Then Danny Santana crushes one out.

So HB I started out watching this game with the Texas announcers and liked them so I stayed with them.

After Martin made the catch in the 8th even THEY said they thought Leonys slacked on the one earlier.

They replayed the second, good catch and commented how he put a full effort into that one - and wondered if Lindor's talking to him might have lit a fire under that catch.

And this was NOT the home announcers. Good call by them
