That was a spectacular backhand block by Perez in that game, HB you described it well. He didn't have time to move his body.
As for me on the Naquin thing, I certainly think I'd rather have him at this point than Martin. This season is morphing into a rebuild, keep the younger/more potential guy.

Tribe down 2-1 and I'm wondering how our rotation could have shaken out like this. Only Bieber did pretty much what we'd expect.
It DOES look like we are getting Lindor back (leadoff homer) and Jose Ramirez seems to be hitting the ball like himself again now.

Carrasco and Bauer have been huge disappointments. We really needed them to step up with the injuries and instead they have folded like lawn chairs.
Bauers hasn’t pitched well since he said he received death threats. He’s such a flake I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Only 2 earned for Bauer tonight. His defense really let him down.

Was nice to see the team come alive vs Red Sox but now this relapse vs White Sox gives us more perspective on this season.
And it is not pretty. Get Mercado back out there, we need to get him max playing time in a season like this.

Apparently I gave the kiss of life to Leonys in the other folder as he homers today.
Nice 5 inning outing by Jef Rodriguez but he leaves early with a "tight lat"
Carlos Santana just keeps hitting - homers.

Plesac has really become a pleasant surprise. I always liked him but never expected him to step in now and do as well as he's doing.
3 shutout innings so far today, 4 K.

Wow, now up to 1 run allowed in 6 innings.
Our juggernaut offense back to it's previous self after the blip in Boston.

Yesterday Bobby Bradley didn't hit 1, but he hit 2 homers for Columbus.
Meanwhile, our offense can't score a run.

The second one, his 17th of the year, nevermind what the announcer said, he was wrong, was an opposite field shot AGAIN. He's had a ton of those lately.

And by the way, Naquin had 2 hits yesterday too, a double and a homer.
In the last 5 games for Columbus he has 7 hits. 2 doubles, a triple, and 3 homers.
Daniel Johnson is hitting .333 with 5 doubles, 2 triples, and a home run since his promotion to Columbus.
Meanwhile, Leonys Martin is 3 for 20 the last week, a .150 average. And is hitting 216 on the year.
Please do not make excuses for the Indians brass. They are making their bed.

Lindor goes deep twice, and Bieber pitching well. Has Tribe up 3-2 in 6th.

Bieber still looking good, 5-2 bottom 7. These days we have to win when Bieber pitches.
