Since they get a 26th man for the Doubleheader, can they add Frankie to the roster and hold onto Freeman or Moroff until the end of the day? Or is the 26th man required to be shipped out after the day?

Kluber continues his streak of mediocrity so far. 2 runs in 4 innings....Down 2-1 going to bottom of 4.

and then a couple innings later we have 1st and 3rd and Allen and Naquin again leave them there.
Listen I like Greg Allen but he has one hit in 30 at bats and has options remaining. Send him back down. He can work on whatever he's not doing right and Mercado gets a trial.

Well we put the kiss of life on Greg Allen as he doubles home Santana (after Santana had singled and stolen 2B)

Santana now 3-3. What is that man on? Maybe he can pick up a 3rd citizenship...seems to work.

Allen and Naquin come through in the 5th! Allen with an RBI double and Naquin knocks him in with RBI single.

(Having said that I'd still like to swap Allen out with Mercado for time being too)

I don't know what to think of Santana. He used to be such a slow starter. Now he's hitting everything in sight to start this season.

(Naquin just steals 2nd too)

By the way, this just might be the worst job of umpiring I've ever seen today. Calling balls and strikes. I'm not just saying that out of bias, if anything he's screwed the Braves pitcher worse than ours. But this guy is terrible. No consistency at all.

One time I saw Teheran throw a fastball on outside corner, strike. Very next pitch he threw the exact same pitch in same spot, ball.

Don't know how many times one of the pitchers will hit the zone, ball. Next pitch is 6 inches off the plate, strike.

Mark me down as being in favor of robo strike/ball umps. It has to be an incredible bitch to call balls and strikes from these pitchers.
