still 2-0 in the bottom of the 4th, we have 3 singles off Boyd, who's a pretty fair lefty. hanley Ramirez slips below 200 leaving Jordan Luplow as the only other one besides Santana in today's lineup hitting above the Mendoza line.
On this team Mendoza would probably hit third.

Bauer's 14 innings of 1-hit ball have been followed by 4 innings with 7 hits surrendered today. On the other hand, after issuing 7 walks the first two starts, he hasn't walked anyone today. Hasn't kept his pitch down, however.. 76 after 4 innings. Won't be out there for more than 2 more.

Yesterday Andre Knott said Lindor is doing all baseball activities and able to run full bore. The only problem he is having now is stopping on a dime after a full run. He is still leary about doing that. Doesn't trust his ankle enough to make a full stop after a full run. As soon as he is able to do that he will be playing rehab games. And should be soon.

Kipnis is expected back with team either Friday or Saturday.

Cargo they are just trying to get his legs under him and in regular season shape. Able to handle the grind of playing every day and travelling and such. But he should be ready soon too. (I think he said he had played 5 straight days. But I noticed he is not in the Clippers lineup today)

Time for some action in the 5h. We have the impressive trio of Perez Moroff and Stamets scheduled.

Roberto leads off with one of his frequent walks.
Moroff hits it in the air to the 2nd baseman.
Eric's time to shine.

Leadoff hitter Martin gets on base as a leadoff hitter is supposed to do, for the second time in 3 at bats, with a walk in the 6th. Former MVP candidate follows with a strikeout. Not yet MVP candidate Luplow does the same. Santana takes a talk. Hanley to bat with a chance to bring in a run or more.
