Interesting. Just a couple games in since all star break and they are resting EE today. Yandy is DH'ing.

Yandy's at .715 in 2018. Who else could they drop so he can stay? Most of the OFs are expendable but don't see them dumping Rajai or Guyer without someone taking on their at bats. Gonzalez can play SS and 2B, Yandy not really. It would be good for him to join a team that needs a 3rd baseman and/or DH. Look what happened to Aguilar when he finally got a chance.

Well I'm just glad we got to see Yan, Yandy, and Yonder all in the lineup at the same time once this year.

Yeah, ouch, I felt badly for him actually.

First they pitch around Melky (4 straight balls) to load the bases so they could pitch to the kid.

Then it goes to 3-2. Ouch!!

Gamecast had the pitch location down and in possibly out of the strike zone. Did he swing at ball 4?

Seagull - he half swung, it looked like very low ball 4 but they said he went around. Very disappointing. Catcher had to throw him out at first as when he saw he had been called out he took off.

Yandy is in lineup for EE again tonight, and batting clean up.

Remember the other day when I mentioned how EE played the field and kept having to run everywhere on bases and joked he may need a day off. I guess he needed 2!

Kipnis just booted an easy DP ball. Lucky to still get force. Hope it doesn't haunt us.
