Don't know Yandy's trade value but realistically probably not much of a market for a muscle-bound, 28 year-old without a real position that has trouble hitting the ball in the air with power.

We got two on in 2nd but Naquin hits a shot up the middle that bounced off Colon. But Bart, like a quick jungle cat, pounced on the ball and threw him out by a hair.

What are the odds of hitting Colon with shot up middle? Same as hitting a broom stick?

As I stated earlier on Yandy - his bat to ball skill is A+. The rest can still be learned, power comes later in many cases.

That said for sure there is more value holding on to a guy like that rather then selling low.

Not to jinx him but it's the best Cookie has looked in quite the while.

Yeah, this game has been a snoozer compared to last night. Pitchers both doing well. Bartol0-0-0-0 is throwing 86 and getting everybody out.

Thing I liked about Yandy last night was twice he got himself in good hitting counts, was looking fastball, got it, and tried to turn on it. Both times he fouled them straight back though. But that's something I've always wanted to see him do more of, instead of just looking to go up the middle and opposite field all the time. Turn on those middle-in fastballs.

But just to clarify, Yandy is 26, plays a good 3rd base and from what I've heard has played good at 1st this year too in his 10 games there. And is a line drive hitter.
