Mike swept through a quick 7th, fanning his 11th. Still at 99 pitches. Should at least start the 8th.
With some recent losses, the current "BIG THREE" in the pen: Ramirez, Perez and Allen are available.

Hey guys, who do we want to see gone?
I'm taking the family to Saturday's game and figure I may pick up a Jersey, figure that'll ensure whomever I get is gone by the end of the month.

Well good call HB - Ramirez and Oliver Perez shared the 8th nicely and paved the way for Cody.
I'm sure you remember back in the day Oliver Perez was a filthy left hander with amazing stuff who never really lived up to that stuff.
But as a lefty specialist - he definitely might work very well. I still see some nasty pitches from him.

How about a Dan Otero? or my favorite Josh Tomlin? or even a Zach McAllister?

Nothing that I'm aware of. Lack of depth in the order evidenced by Jason's return today to the 5th spot despite his 197 average. He's finally hitting some homeruns but nothing else is on the upswing.

I meant to get his jersey to ensure him gone.

Good choice, Gaylord!
Today’s game is a prime example of why one of 12 friggin relievers should be able to go long. Ridiculous to burn up your entire bullpen when a starter gets knocked out early.
They brought Plutko in late to finish last few innings. Means Bieber will be up tomorrow, so may be blessing in disguise.

Brandon f'n Guyer was just brought in to pitch the 9th.
And he sit them down 1-2-3
Assume he is chief set up man now.

Outstanding first inning for Bieber. He did not give up a home run to Eddie Rosario and he struck out three.
Allowed far fewer first inning runs than Carrasco, in fact he matched the total surrendered to the Muderous Twins by 2 time cy Young Award Corey Kluber!

Bieber has put plenty on base but no one has scored since the first. Meanwhile Gomes cleared the bases with a double and put the Indians put 4-1. It's now the bottom of the 4th. 6 hits and even a WALK off Bieber in his 4 innings, but he's only thrown 61 innings so the exhausted bullpen is getting some relief. Neither Ramirez nor Allen pitched yesterday and Guyer only threw 8 pitches so have some arms available to close out if Shane get het us through 6 or 7.

5th inning Twins threaten. Once again it's Rosario [one out single] and Escobar [3rd double of the day]. 2 in scoring position for cleanup hitter Lance Morrison. Shane fans him on a 2-2 curveball. And takes care of Dozier on a grounder to Lindor.
Twins have now left 7 on base and 1-7 with RISP. Bieber's been touched for 8 hits including 4 doubles in his 5 innings. But he keeps working out of trouble.
Twins' slash line today is 364/383/545 But it's runs that count. pitch total 76. Bieber's not through
