Interesting the number of "nuckle curves" both starters threw yesterday. Yuriel, that is all he saw from Bauer. Altuve or Correa, can't remember which, Bauer threw, knuckle curve, cutter, 2seam fastball, 4 seam fastball, and a slider, all away I think.

Are pure knuckle ballers a thing of the past?

I saw Steven Wright (Red Sox) pitch in relief the other day and he is a pure knuckle baller.

Lead off single for Allen. 16th hit last 15 games. He's really looking far more relaxed up there now. I think he's finally settled in. Took off running on second pitch too. I like it.

Brantley singled and now has a 19 game hit streak. That is the longest in majors this year.

Kipnis strikes out with two runners on. But he has 5 RBI last 18 days so apparently he wasn't due for another yet!!

Kluber doesn't have his A game today, not sure if it's even his B game. But he still has 3 scoreless with 6 K.

Kipnis just popped up in infield with runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs.

OK, he started off without his best command but that 4th inning Kluber had his A game.

8 K thru 4 shutout now.

And has now faced 100 straight batters without a walk.
