Agreed. I know Melky is a switch hitter but I am assuming Chiz will man RF against righties.

Neither Davis nor Guyer have impressed enough to keep Chiz from taking his spot back when he's ready. Now that we have Melky who can hit from right side one of them can go.

Lonnie Chisenhall (RF, Columbus) - 2-2, 1 R, 2 H, 1 2B, 1 RBI - The Indians right fielder took some major steps in his recovery from a calf injury. He was perfect at the plate in his two at-bats before exiting the game. Right now the plan is for him to play every other day and work himself back into game shape so he's not close to returning but he's getting there.

One of our famous slow-rehabbers. I'm guessing he should be back in time to reinjure the calf and return to the DL by the 4th of July.

Although I may be overoptimistic

I don't even want him back. Guess I'm in good shape then.

TFIR -- I would just say the same thing to you about Chisenhall as I have said about Naquin last couple years. They were former 1st round picks, and as long as the potential is there for them to reach what the club thought they might when they drafted them I don't think the club would give up on them real easily.

This could be another bargain basement steal for the Tribe. The guy hit .285 with 17 homers last year as a switch hitter. Legit.
