Really positive outing for Goody. To me, this shows Tito's hand regarding his pecking order in the bullpen.

After Miller and Cody closed out the regular part of the game, then he went to Goody. Looking back, seems to me to be reasonable to think Goody can fill Shaw's role this year - he was outstanding last season.

Nice to see Michael's name in there. He is a [rare for Cleveland] lefty who can hit lefties. Still seems strange that a world series contender has to use a strict platoon for two outfield slots. Someday they're going to have to make a serious deal of some our depth in middle infield talent catching and starting pitching [too bad Salazar's trade value has plummeted] to acquire solid RF. Then we could get by with either Zimmer or Allen as a great defensive CF who may or may not be quality major league bat.

What does Willi Castro and Aaron Civale and Lonnie Chisenhall and Yan Gomes get us? [Don't say Matthew Lucroy]

The manager had went out and gave the pitcher a real ear full. Brantley, being the cajy vet he is, just knew a big fat fastball was coming first pitch.
