Phenomenal play in the 7th by Yandy - to his left and rolls over - throws from the ground to get the guy at 1b.

Now THIS is a great example of how spring training games DO mean something at times. Just putting that play into Tito's head definitely counts for something for Yandy.

As well as, bottom of the inning, he launches a low liner into left center to the fence for a double. (They then pinch run for him)

There was a game last week where there was a grounder up the line at 3rd that Yandy backhanded and made a great jumping throw going away from field. Then later in game made a great diving catch on a ball hit up the middle. I feel like a ramble on too much about him so didn't say anything at time. He's a very good defensive 3rd baseman though.

If the Tribe would have moved Kipnis, they would have. That's pretty clear - so they definitely like Yandy a lot.

Of course Kipnis may get back to form this year after all.

Oh yeah, when all is said and done this team is built on pitching - Kluber, Carrasco and Bauer equal and 3 in the game.

And we know Clevinger has great upside as well - and of course the bullpen (Allen/Miller).

If Kipnis is back as well as Brantley, this team has an embarrassment of riches. Especially in our rebuilding division.

Brian Kenny calls it the premier league. NY, Boston, Cleveland and Houston in the AL. We are in an era where you are in or out. And the rich get richer.

Funny thing is our Tribe is one of the very few organizations that never, ever tanked. They just kept chipping away and built it all the way to 102 wins last year.

I am not one to bitch about the postseason as so much of that is chance. Kluber in game 5. And couldn't get it done.

Year before, game 7 extra innings.

Nothing anyone, anywhere, can do about those. So you just keep getting in the position and hope the cards fall your way.

Spring Training stats don't count, but Nick Goody's baddy spring got worse Thursday with 5 runs in less than his assigned inning.

Slugger Eric Haase with his 2nd spring homer, has a typical for him stat line in limited action: 15 AB, 1 single, 1 double, 2 homers, 6 rbi. 3 walks, 7 strikeouts. 4 other outs.

So Roberto Perez first throws out DeShields (!) trying to steal early in the game.

Then picks a guy off in the 4th with a gun throw down to 1B. Just amazing!!
