WoW buck shoulda been out at the plate but the catcher didn't have the ball....throw looked perfect too.
Two out walk to buck and Santana doubles....
and Grady gets another double...
And cabrerra gets a long single...grady scores...
6-0

Twins were leading Detroit 3-0, but Detroit hung 6 on them in their 5th.
6-4 now, going to the Twin 7th.

Sure glad I sold my A's-Yankees tix for tonight. It's a raw, wet mid-50's here with a 12 mph wind. Once more, this is the latest in the year it has rained in California in my 25 years working and living here.
Rain is in the forecast for the weekend so we might have extraordinarily rare June precipitation.
My wife just saw snowflakes on her drive through the Altamont

Blue Jay announcers offer their opinion that Carlos Santana should not be removed from catching. They think the Cleveland organization has thought about doing so.
They mention he's a good looking hitter....from both sides of the plate.
They did not mention that despite "looking good," he has not hit for average to this point of 2011.

Talbot calls it a night after 6 2/3 of shutout ball and 99 pitches.
Joe Smith.

Smith promptly advances the runner inherited with a rising throw to the screen.
Next batter scratches an infield hit that O Cabrera throws away putting the runner in scoring position.
Ah, Choo misreads a fly and now it's 6-2

Joe Smith.
Apparently rumors of Mitch Talbot's demise were a tad exaggerated. Good for him, we needed a solid outing from a starter...

Warm, mid-summerlike night here. I had the top down on my car a while ago when I went to the library and grocery store.

That play Orlando just tried to force it. He did a super job of getting to the ball in shallow right field. He should have put it in his pocket but threw from an awkward position.

JR, yep I've been hearing about all the warm and hot weather back east.
103 in Uncle Dennis's Charlotte I understand.
I think UD was the guy holding the wine bottle in the Charlotte urban unrest pictures yesterday.....

Odd encounter on the mound.
Acta came out and talked to the home plate ump, who in turn walked to the mound for a solo conversation with Vinny Pestano. Blue Jay announcers speculate Pestano does not like the hole in the mound.
