Tribe seems to be in a hurry to get out of the country.

Asdrubal and Choo go down on 4 pitches in the 6th.

And Buck made in a 1-2-3 inning with his K

I wish I had a watermelon.

I'm going to run next door and get one, along with some corn on the cob.

Hopefully I can scoot back and see about 8 Tribe runs in the last 3 innings.

Grady fans 4 for 4. Masterson charged with 7 runs, 6 earned. Highlight from the box score is a very nice 3 shutout innings from Frank Herrmann.

David Ortiz homers in the 9th to put Red Sox up 4-3 on the Tigers. Jhonny P grounds out to start the bottom of the inning.

Well, good news is that they had whole seeded watermelons (better tasting than seedless) for $4.99. That's a huge bargain out here.

Corn on the cob was 5 for a buck.

AND they had true Vidalia onions.

If Papelbon can hold the Tigers in the 9th, we'll still have a 6 1/2 game lead.

He did.

Tiggers lose.

Let 'em lose in the 2nd game and we'll increase our lead to 7 today.

Masterson had his worst outing of the season. A flashback to 2010.

Tribe offense has been very anemic , and they aren't doing any of the 'little' things to manufacture a run here and there to stay in a game.
