Just catching up after mowing the backyard:
M Brantley singled to right. 0 0
A Cabrera tripled to deep center, M Brantley scored. 1 0
A Cabrera picked off third. 1 0
S Choo singled to center. 1 0
T Buck singled to center, S Choo to third. 1 0
C Santana hit sacrifice fly to right, S Choo scored, T Buck out at first.

A Cabrera picked off third.
I still dig the agressive baserunning.....though like the other day when it seemed everyone got caught stealing...it can backfire.
We would easily be sitting at 4-0 right now if he hadn't been caught.

Safety squeeze gets a run for Tampa. But Laporta was charging instead of covering first. Santana also went for the ball, so they had no play at the plate either.

Santana, Carrasco and LaPorta show their youth and inexperience on a safety squeeze play. Not only were they not on the same page, they were reading from different books.

Carrasco made it through 6 innings, allowed just the 2 runs. Not bad at all.
