Yeah Baron! But with those teams, we had players in those lineups with no easy outs. This current team just has too many of them. It's a miracle we got this far.

Well! We are not rolling over and playing dead. Salazar is keeping us in the game. I would just like to get to the point where Chapman has to pitch tonight.

Kipnis makes it 7-2. Salazar and now Manship are showing that good pitching will still handcuff good hitting.

Francona working the bottom half of the bullpen tonight trying not to let this game get out of hand. We are getting some good swings on Arrieta tonight and that's really too bad because that 1st inning fly ball was a disaster.
These freekin' outfielders have to start getting their act together. Almost another collision. The third of the game.

Chapman is on again, and we can't catch a break on a close play at first.
We might have to face him for 7 or 8 innings tomorrow!

We WERE up, 3-1 in this series, and even when we lost Sunday, we had a one game advantage, and were coming home.
The Drive, The Fumble, the Shot...will we have The Collapse?

Given the past history with the Red Sox drought and the Tribe drought now, and the starter injuries, tonights game is a Hall Of Fame entry possibility for Francona. I hope the team gives it to him.

So tonight it's Kluber, Miller and Allen vs. Hendricks, Lester and Chapman.
Someone will score a run, but I don't expect there to be many.

Aside from the media bias and seeming showing every Cubs fan in the Stadium.
I went up to tuck my kids into bed when they switched from Tomlin to Otero. As I was finishing up I heard the crowd roar like crazy on the TV. Me and the wife thought that Otero got the last out and/or someone hit a leadoff homer in the bottom of the inning.
No, they hit a Grand Slam.
I was really upset, like blood pressure up, wanting to scream and blow some shit up mad. Not because we gave up a Grand Slam and put the game out of reach, but because I realized we don't have Home Field Advantage. I asked a few people in Cleveland and even outside the local area and to Cubs Fans.
this was probably the most sensible explanation I got
"Stub Hub, presale tickets to season ticket owners. They price gouged Cleveland prior to Chicago even making it. Once it was Chicago, stub hub prices more than doubled for Standing Room only. The Indians didn't make enough available for "the general public." Really need to re-think their sales strategy. They sold away home field advantage."
To the Season Ticket holders that sold their seats to cubs fans for an insane profit.....there's a special place in hell.
But that's what it all comes down to. Money. They aren't going to NOT sell season tickets to people who turn around and sell them. They don't care that an average middle class family of 4 can't afford to go to more than 3 or 4 games a year. If the prevalent thought process is why pay 1000 and go see a team that will probably lose when I can sell them for more than 2500 to a visiting fan.
I think I'm more upset about that than knowing we are going to lose.

I'm expecting to see Rajai Davis somewhere in the outfield. Naquin and Chisenhall haven't hit and seem to have forgotten how to field.

I'm still kind of surprised that Francona didn't pull Naquin with the bases loaded.
It infuriated me to hear Smoltz say it, even though I was thinking it. Walk Crisp to get to the easy out strike out of Naquin.
