But a weak grounder gets Carrasco out of the inning.

A couple more doubles and a wild pitch and Carrasco lets the Reds back in the ballgame. It's 7-4 in th middle of the 6th. we'll need to score several more to let Jody in the game. And to make me feel comfortable

Cabrera, Asdrubal that is, with his second homer, fourth hit and fourth RBI of the day. How did he become a slugger??

Santand bats looking for his first decent at bat. He grounded out with a man on second. struck out with men on 1st and 3rd. Grounded to the pitcher with two on and two out. This team with the bases empty he takes strike 3.

Bullpen's job: no more than 3 runs in 3 innings and we earn another sweep.

Remarkably Carrasco starts the 7th and allows his 4th double of the last innings on the first pitch. that was not a good decision by Acta. Now he's out of there.

Another rather puzzling decision. Chad Durbin enters the game. I guess he is no longer No. 7 reliever with Herrmann and Judy behind him. He throws balls on his first three pitches. I will take my usual safety first approach and shut the gameoff for twenty minutes or so.

Durbin slams the door shut on the Reds. He induced a FO to Choo, then struck the next 2 batters out.

I was down on Durbin as a reliever earlier in the season as it seemed he was just throwing BP out there, and not throwing a lot of strikes.

He looks to be nicely squared away now, and his cut slider/fastball is pretty nasty when he locates it properly. He has the Reds missing it at least for today.

Kearns leads off the bottom of the 7th with a triple off the RF wall, just missed going out. The Reds outfielders suck at playing the balls off the wall. Hanahan drives Kearns home and ends up on second.

Tribe 9, Reds 4 with 1 out.

CIV is missing all the fun!

10-4 now, on Brantley's liner.

Marson walks, Brantley doubles down the RF line driving in Hanahan.

10-4 Tribe, runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out with Babe Cabrera coming to the plate.

I returned to get the good news. But, of course, we all know that if I had kept listening it would be 8-7 by now.

Smith being very careful with 1st base open. Cabrera battles off a bunch of pitches then golfs a low inside curve into RF for a single - 5 hits and 5 RBI's (+ 2 errors) today.
