Hey, nothing says you have to roster them.

Carl Crawford has been a disappointment for me thus far , but I'm not ready to dump him. He has been riding the pines, though!

Great day for DONNA Sunday, and I did pretty well myself!

JR - I like Lowrie, but I do think that the Red Sox will use Scutaro too often ahead of him for my comfort.
I hate putting a guy in, then later on seeing he is sitting. Could see that with him.

I think he will start against lefthanders, at least.
I see you picked up Lackey. He does well vs the A's, but I think you're taking a chance. I'm not sure he's healthy.

Yeah, this was specifically for the A's matchup.
I don't have much faith in him otherwise.

I haven't had time to check teams out, today, JR! Going to do that now.

TFIR: You dropped Lackey before he and his 15.58 ERA faced the A's tonight! Cold feet?

Oh no, the drop always takes place the NEXT day.
So Lackey is still in for me, just for this game tonight.

That's news I can use! So far, so good for Lackey.

Remember, all transactions become effective the NEXT day. So if you want to use a starter for a specific matchup, you have to do it the day before.
Then, the DAY OF the matchup, you can waive the pitcher if you want.
To get a list of eligible starters the NEXT day, you go to the players page (where you usually pick up a free agent) and use the pull down menu (which usually says ALL BATTERS). Pull it down to PROBABLE. There, it lists the available starting pitchers who are pitching the next day, and who they are pitching against.
I am doing the same today with Wade Davis. Lackey did ok, nothing special.
