Good news. As of now they think Carrasco just has a jaw contusion.

That's great news, esp after seeing him lie there on his belly for so long before he moved, and holding his face in obvious pain when he left on the cart.

Ooo, exciting to see Bauer with another good start today! Chisox, so far, fielding like we have seen the Indians do in the past.

Bauer's season-opening no hitter ended after 9 innings. He left up 4-2 after 6. Atchison Rpzc and Shaw [the latter with some struggles] keeps it that way to the ninth.

I don't recall many flames out from Allen last year although he did blow a few saves. This is two outings in a row where he's a wrec,

3-5 isn't all that bad. Bauer has joined Kluber as a top notch starter. Carrasco is obviously at that level, too, and apparently won't miss much [?] time. So even without Gomes and Brantley and weakness at the back of the rotation this team should stay in the hunt.
