And we lose, as Gomes Ks.
Each team with only 3 hits but the Stros capitalized.

Still 161 games to go, but I bet kenm has already thrown in the towel.

Just turned it on and thought it would be about the 5th innings then I remembered that we dont do runs and then it was done.

At least it was quick and I could change the channel to the game. Boy does college basketball look amateurish after watching the NBA all season.

Raburn grounded out to pitcher, Santana to third, Gomes to second. 0 1

This guy needs to go. Lineup full of lefties so the few righty bats need to be productive. Hardly any worse options for RH half of a DH platoon, starting with Aguillar; is Jerry Sands Righty, too?

Speaking of RH hitters who are available. For 4 seasons previous to 2014 Carlos Quentin had OPS over 800. His 599 last year is terrible when compared to anyone other than Raburn. He's now available as Braves DFA him; there is the little issue of his $8M salary

There's going to be a lineup of American league teams that could use a right handed DH looking to get Quentin on the cheap. I too am hoping the Tribe is in that line.

If not, I am hoping the Tribe knows something we don't about Raburn. Namely that he is on track for a performance recovery this season.

Isn't Raburn one of those guys who alternates good years with bad? Maybe this is supposed to be a "good" year.

Better get someone that can hit soft-tossing leftys. Based on yesterday's offensive performance, Tribe is going to see every lefty their opponents have.

That's why it would make to sense to have Aguillar and/or Sands instead of the unnecessary 8th reliever and/or Raburn.

Of course on only slightly deeper thought I realize that "we don't need Quentin" since Swisher is coming back to fill the role of RH DH/RF.

End of 5 Tribe 1-0. What's up with black jerseys or is my eyesight getting worse.

Carrasco out for the 7th. Gets the 1st batter and Hagadone is brought in. He proceeds to walk the 1st batter (LH) and then gets an aggressive batter grounds into a double play to Chisinhall. Oh wait Lonnie lets it hit off his glove. Bring in REPRXINKXI and one pitch double play. still 1-0 Tribe top of 8
