I sure hope we get Sizemore healthy and trade him. He won't re-sign with us and with his injury risk and the emergence of Brantley we better move him as soon as we can....

I have kept my posting about Wedge to a minimum since I said I would when he was still here and after he left.
OK, let me say something positive about him.......he has the best moustache in MLB!
Wedge's moustache reminds me of Kurt Russell in "Tombstone".
"Wyatt Wedge".

Wedges' facial hair reminds me to buy some new razor blades.

We had 2+ days of that rain, literally non-stop.
Good riddance.

Friday's attendance was the largest this season since Opening Day (41,721), and the biggest non-Opening Day crowd since Sept. 21, 2008. It was a welcome change for a team that has averaged just 15,698 in attendance at home this year, entering Saturday's game.
"You can feel the energy," Acta said.
Given the recent history of the Cleveland franchise -- the club lost 190 games combined over the past two seasons -- Acta always hopes the team performs well when there is a packed house.
"I always worry when we get big crowds about not being able to play well," he said. "In our situation over the last couple of years, you do want to attract people, and you do want them to see what the guys are doing on the field.
"It's like, 'Come on, not today. Today is not the day for us to not play good.' That's what you want. You want people to see what's really happening here."

Finally stopped raining in Youngstown today; they should have played at Eastwood Field.

If the team is winning they are not going to trade Sizemore and if you're team is winning, you don't trade a guy just because he won't resign. That's idiotic.

Weather.com seemingly was way off today. I checked the Cleveland forecast when I saw the first inning rain delay and noted the rain was forecast to stop after 3PM Cleveland time. I was surprised to see the postponed note click up.

They are showing a replay of Lenny's perfecto during the rain delay. Just showed Danny Ainge batting, and Tait and Drennan were discussing whether the Cavs would draft him.
