End of 6, Tribe leads the Sox 5-2.

It sounded like there was a nice crowd when Swisher went deep.

Too bad we can't take the entire pitching staff into the playoffs. That's a terrific lineup of no name stars and Masterson is in the mix.

Same holds true with the bench players.

Francona will have to make some tough choices but I guess that's a good thing, right? He'll take the best players with him. He's familiar with what these guys can do under pressure situations now.

We'll be playing on turf. I still think we need to get the quickest team on the field for that Tampa game.

From what it looks like right now, I think we will face Price. Looks like Salazar for us. Remember! Price is a very crafty southpaw with great stuff. Runs won't be easy to come by. He's only given up 15 homers. If my addition is correct, that's an average of 1.25 per game.

By the same token, the Angels won't be the patsies that the Astros are. The Rangers have, I think, 3 games left with the Angels.
Actually they have 4 games with the Angels. Angels are 7-3 in their last 10 games.

McDoc:

Glad you had a good time. These last two series were the kind of fun we remember from the 90s.
What I want every year is a competitive team that makes Sept games exciting. The season is a huge success for me wherever it finishes. But I'm looking forward to another couple weeks of October ball too.
