May be some more moves soon.

How long are they going to watch Miller implode?

Zimmer 4Ks in 4 ABs.

Agree seagull - time to get Owen Miller back to Columbus to regroup. He's seen what he needs to work on.

My guess is they were waiting for Bradley to finally show some life before they made the switch. Bobby has been hitting homers and nothing more until the past few games; he had a 3-3 game all singles, then his 9th homer and they made the switch before we could cool off again.

Pirates have scooped up Ben Gamel and Ka'ai Tom. Maybe they'll want to add Jake to their collection of talent. Can't imagine too many other teams will be excited. His most likely new home will be a AAA team without a healthy IB.

Not much left on the Clippers roster to re-call. McKenzie. Moss who's just back from injury. Morgan. Allen who's on a rehabbing break. Cam Hill still on the DL More vets like Parker who are not on the 40 man roster but none is pitching well. LH Kirk McCarty doing pretty well as a young starter.

just looked at Hentges' season stats. 24 innings 41 hits 15 walks. 5 homers. that kind of explains the 8.51 ERA

No roster moves all day on Monday. Other than McKenzie coming back to pitch on Friday I don't see much more likely this week. Maybe Mejia can make it through 4 innings in his next start.
Wasn't sure why 26th man Stephens wasn't given 3 innings on Sunday letting the real bullpen guys rest, Unless they liked the idea of Wittgren getting a no pressure inning to work on this year's flaws.

Zach Plesac (thumb) is expected to resume throwing later this week.

Plesac suffered a non-disabled fracture in his right thumb while "aggressively" changing clothes last month, but the injury did not require surgery and he may be ready return to the Indians' rotation sometime in early July.

The 26-year-old had a 4.14 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 38/12 K/BB ratio through 58 2/3 innings this season.

and pitching when? a couple weeks a month?

civ - it said early July.

I dunno some of this seems common sense. Since it is a hand injury, and pretty minor, the fact that he's able to throw now says it won't be all that long.

He just has to build back up and he hasn't been out that long. So late June, early July seems reasonable.

Ok, that's long enough. Hope he's get some shirt-removal training too.

More likely a bit of anger management training since it seems obvious to me that it wasn't a routine shirt removal.

You don't think so??

When these guys do silly things like that, I remind myself that they're 26 years old and did I ever do anything stupid at that age? He got pissed off after a bad game and banged his hand against the chair and then thought about what he di
