Different lists of course put Valera higher. But I think Williams and Bibee both have serious shots to join the 2023 rotation at some point
Bibee has added several MPH to his fastball, has stellar control and went to a UC college just like Bieber [Fullerton rather than Santa Barbara]

The Cleveland Guardians add league-leading 9th prospect to top 100 (MLB Pipeline)
by Chad Porto19 hours ago Follow @ChadNerdCorp

The Cleveland Guardians continue to add talent
Bo Naylor is now a member of the Top 100 club in the world of pro baseball. According to MLB Pipeline, Naylor has become the 9th Cleveland Guardians player to hit the Top 100 for the 2022 season. The movement was made possible due to the Reds’ Nick Lodolo getting called up.

For the season, the Guardians have had nine players now on the Top 100, some are still in the minors, and some no longer are. Right now the players who have made up the Top 100 this season include, Naylor, Daniel Espino, Gabriel Arias, Brayan Rocchio, Logan Allen, George Valera, and Gavin Williams. Recent call-ups Tyler Freeman and Nolan Jones were also on the Top 100 list but presumably no longer are after getting the promotion.

Currently, the Guardians have had nine players hit the mark this year, with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Texas Rangers having six. The Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, and St. Louis Cardinals have five.

It’s hard to argue that the Cleveland Guardians aren’t set up for a deep and long competitive window. With the depth of their minor-league system, and their ability to obtain talent in trades at the perfect time. the Guardians are setting themselves up for a 10+ year run of excellence.

The Guardians have routinely been the best, most competitive team in the Cleveland area despite never being a money pit like the Browns, or overpaying guys so much that you don’t turn a profit like the Cavaliers.

Looking at teams that overpay on guys like the Los Angeles Angels, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, and the like, I’d much rather have a competitive team each and every year than the alternative.

Considering how often Detroit, Minnesota, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh are routinely having losing seasons, fans should be grateful we have such a well-put-together ballclub from the top down.

I am grateful for a long string of well managed, well general managed competitive teams. World championship in my lifetime is unlikely but I appreciate the team that represents Cleveland.
Unlike the constantly mismanaged football team which has gone from a laughingstock to a disgrace.

Not Me! I will give Tony LaRussa and his feeble-fielding Sox, and the surprising Lucas Giolito for helping making it possible.

Looking at our schedule I can see us comfortably ending up 87 - 75. Wouldn't take too much luck to climb over 90 this year. Who knows where these kids will take us?

I think the team is inevitably going to on cold as well as hot streaks with all these young players. That is possible and would be great but I would expect closer to .500.

Graduated, i.e. used up major league minimum appearances to qualify as a prospect

Preseason No 24 Ernie Clement
Preseason no, 27 Steven Kwan: kind of exceeded expectations

Off the list for other reasons:

No. 17 SS Carson Tucker is usually injured and when he plays he hardly hits at all
No. 19 RHP Ethan Hankins a very high prospect until TJ surgery, has pitched 1 inning in Arizona
No. 23 Tobias Myers RHP came from Tampa over the winter was terrible at Columbus and released
No. 25 Aaron Bracho second consecutive season at same level "hitting" well below 200
No. 26 Carlos Vargas better than everyone else in this category, he's back from injury and pitching semi=effective relief in Akron
No. 29 Tommy Mace LHP 3rd round I think in 2021 has trouble throwing the ball over the plate.
No, 30 Konnor Pilkington doubleheader specialist for the Guardians. He probably still ranks just a bit behind the top 30

he hasn't been on the Top 30 for several years. And Kwan just barely registered. These guys are playing above and beyond expectations.
