His fielding (multiple outfield positions) is fantastic, and his speed is phenomenal. Quite a useful guy.
A big help to him was the signing of Bourn, which allowed Francona to bat him last. He was not a very effective leadoff guy in Cincy.

Good point JR and it continues to point to the fact that the team talent level and depth this year has led to their success.

I am surprised at how much Stubbs has contributed. Can't hit RH but not to the extent Chisenhall can't hit lefties, and he does so much else that is beneficial, that I'm OK with a 230 average (which he is actually exceeding to this point)

Although he was only responsible for 80% of it, Ubaldo is perfectly capable of blowing any lead at any time regardless of how well he has been pitching before. Pretty amazing for a veteran pitcher
