It's early and therefore meaningless.

This Shapiro led team is going to tank. That's what Mark Shapiro teams do.

Enjoy the fun before the tank.

Everyone deserves some fun.

I don't think I've put anyone on my ignore list before except maybe KenM when his whining about upper managament got to the point he probably needed clinical help to get over it.

Whenever Cali gets past his mid-life crisis or manopause or whatever hell his problem is, let me know so I can take him off ignore.

Everyone gets down, everyone complains and everyone gets dissappointed from time to time, but the vitirol spanning across two boards, and most of the time not even being relevant are getting past the point of ludacris.

Renounce your Cleveland fanship all you want, but leave the rest of us to our blissful delusions that maybe someday we can win it all and allow us to revel in and celebrate the small victories we do get. I feel bad that you couldn't enjoy the damn fine baseball the Tribe has been playing the past month.

Kazmir was not sharp at all. But Francona pulled him early. I believe Acta would have let him go, and rested the pen for the Tigers series. Often it seemed he conceded the last game of a series.
I know we talked about how many games a Manager actually wins and loses by his in game decisions. Thus far it seems that Francona is making it a greater margin than I would have originally thought.

I have always said that managers mean a lot more than 3-4 games a season and Francona is proving it.

His pulling pitchers when they don't have it and his using the bench wisely have contributed to at least that many wins so far.

Of course it helps that we have major leaguers on the bench, but the manager still has to use them wisely.

Whoever was responsible for the Rogers for Aviles and Gomes trade deserves a bonus.

That was a lot of strikeouts late in that game. I wonder how many in a row, continuing across half-innings? Perhaps I shall go count.

2-2 in the third in tonight's game (Verlander v. Jimenez)

And the answer is: eight in a row, from the last out in the bottom of the seventh to the first out in the top of the ninth.

4-2, Tigers, top of 3rd.
The place looks near empty tonight! Maybe the Indians should sell some of the cheap seats again?

5-2 now, as Jhonny doubles in a run.
