Got to believe Hand and Bauer will be gone by end of July.

IMO, Bauer yes, Hand no.
Hand is locked up a bit. We are still contending for playoff spot. Twins have a bunch of guys on last year of deals. Have to think we will compete for division next year. So keep your good closer around for now.
Bauer is nearing the end of contract and we have some good young arms so that would make sense.

I think Hand is definitely gone if there is a young position player to be had.

Paull Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Mike Clevinger (ankle) is expected to be placed on the 10-day injured list.
Clevinger had been hoping to make his scheduled start Saturday against Detroit, but the Indians scrapped that plan after he felt soreness during Thursday's bullpen session. The right-hander sprained his ankle slipping on the mound in his previous start Monday at Texas. The hope is that Clevinger can return when first eligible in 10 days. In fact, it could be even sooner than that if Cleveland backdates his IL stint to Tuesday.
The Indians haven't announced a starter for Saturday yet, though Hoynes suspects minor-league right-hander Aaron Civale could be in line for a spot start.

I have not been able to find a corresponding move. But I assume it will be to activate Aaron Civale for today’s start. Then maybe Bobby Bradley tomorrow??

Indians beat writer Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com believes top prospect Bobby Bradley will be promoted to the majors soon.
Bradley has been tearing it up at Triple-A Columbus and could get the call to the majors as soon as Sunday. The Tribe designated outfielder Leonys Martin for assignment and replaced him on the roster with pitcher Aaron Civale, who will make a spot start on Saturday.
If Civale goes back down to the minors after the game it could be Bradley who takes his place. Bradley is slashing .292/.359/.638 with 24 home runs and 55 RBI in 67 games for Columbus.

I assume all of our prayers 24/7 were properly addressed.
Oh, and Lindor's prayers too.

so this proves that if the Forum makes enough noise, the front office has no choice but to do what we direct.

Yeah, we rattle our walkers.
Seriously though, you didn't need to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out. Once Mercado became a keeper, and Leonys continued to suck....the dots were easily connected.
Wouldn't surprise me if Bradley was in the dugout for today's game.

Martin dug his own grave when he fell out with Frankie.

Yeah, .199 hitters making crap defensive plays don't have a lot of leverage there.

Back on track, if Mercado continues, Bradley hits and Jose Ramirez continues his revival this team now has some potential offensively.
Get Clev back, maybe Cookie, and off we go....at least it will be a fun team to watch. Twins may have too much of a lead at this point.
