22-10 will look nice, too,
Bet the farm on The Tribe tomorrow.
(I'm just betting the Kentucky Derby!)

As of today, The Cleveland Indians have occupied first place for a full month.
Pedal to the metal. Let's win in Orange County tonight.

The number of no hitters in the last 192 or so Major League Baseball days is getting ridiculous.
Verlander had one today, the 2nd this week.

Offense is down. American League average OBP right now is .317 - that's between 15 and 20 points low. Maybe things will change as the weather heats up or maybe this is a result of the steroids being cleaned out of everyone's systems...

But take a click and look at these anemic MLB averages from 1968.
We didn't have about nine no hitters around that year.

Well, I'll correct myself.
There were five no hitters in 1968, and three in the first month of 1969.
11 total no hitters in '68 and '69.
Who can forget that Tom Phoebus no-no on April 27, 1968?

And no score after one.
I froze at a Tribe game in Anaheim in early 2002. Gametime temps were 50's with a moist breeze.
California weather is way overrated by the rest of the country.

Crap, I have these Angels announcers that talk none stop about anything but Cleveland when the Indians are batting. They have Shigetosi Hasegawa as a guest in the booth and have not even mentioned Hafner is batting. Until he lifts an out to left.

To the Angel 2nd with no score.
I didn't know the trivia about Hasegawa being the first Japanese pitcher to pitch against a Japanese batter....Ichiro, of course......in a Major League Baseball game.

Angels passing out some nice looking Mother's Day hats tomorrow.
I don't think the girls who were modeling them were mother's though. They WERE nice looking.
There goes the no hitter for us.
