ROSTER MOVES: The Cleveland Guardians have placed Gabriel Arias on the 15-day IL and are recalling Brayan Rocchio from Triple-A.

Ortiz are you kidding me ? Let's face it guys this year is not going to turn around so start playing the young guys. I think Thomas should be gone (within a week) if anyone wants him. Brito needs to come up and take over 2nd. Santana needs to go but I am not sure Ramirez or Vogt can handle that.

I was given this stat: Jose Ramirez and Steven Kwan are batting a combined .300 (.818 OPS). The rest of the team is at .203 (.615 OPS).

If you add Carlos Santana (.240, .708 OPS with 10 HR) into the mix with Kwan and Ramirez, it’s even a worse reflection on the rest of the team.

So you are Steven Vogt and your team has lost 8 in a row and your team has a hard time scoring runs. Plus you have a really good crowd that you would like to entertain.
What would you do ?

Our guy decided that this would be a good time to DH Ramirez. Which means one of Manzardo or Santana will not start (Manzardo} Which in turns means that the utility infielder will be playing. Then you decide this will be a good time for Rodriquez to face a right handed pitcher ! Then you decide for a cherry on top lets move Nolan Jones up to the 2nd spot.

Obviously we have decided to put Martinez in center instead of calling up an outfielder !

rusty you know me, the eternal optimist bordering on fan boy for this team. And usually they are deserving of the benefit of the doubt.

But this is inexcusable. Maybe Tito had more influence over this stuff then we realized.
