So the Clippers finished their suspended game then played their regular one.

In first game Johnson went 1-4 with a homer. ... And Yu Chang, back from IL and playing 2B, hit a homer too. ... Bradley was 2-4, both singles. ... And Sandlin pitches a perfect 2/3 of an inning.

In game two Bobby Bradley went Hulk Smash. 2-3 with 2 homers. ... Allen 1-4. ... Johnson 0-3 with a BB.

Akron actually won big. My boy Mitch Longo has a double and 2 homers. ... Tom was 2-4 with a homer. ... Krauth 2 scoreless innings.

Not a great debut by Lynchburg’s new improved lineup as they were shutout. ... Freeman 0-4. ... Jones 1-3. ... Oscar 0-2 ... Benson 0-3.

Captains were rained out.

Scrappers won. ... Rocchio 0-3 with walk and SB. ... Delgado 1-4 ... Valera 2-4

AZL Red ... Valdes 0-2 ... Díaz 2-4, he’s been hot in early going. ... Bartlett 1-2

AZL Blue lost as well. ... Bracho with a homer

DSL Indians beat Cubs, which should avenge our World Series loss. ... Martinez 0-4. ... Rodriguez 2-5. ... Burgos 1-2, double, and 2 walks.

Our DSL coop team was slaughtered. ... Sanquinten 0-4 with 3 K.

[Well as I was writing this, HB was writing his; but I'll go ahead anyway despite the duplications; I overlooked Bracho in fact the AZL teams in general]

Gabriel Rod. 2 hits for the other DSL team

Valera 2 singles for the Scrappers. DeOleo a 3 run HR, 3rd baseman, is an old guy on this roster at age 21; hitting 350 OPS 1008

Freeman 0-4 Benson 0-3 in Lynchburg debuts. McCarty 2 6 3 3 1 1 5.40. Jones single and walk. Gonzalez drew a walk, that makes 4 BB in June after 2 in May and none in April.

Adam Scott, LHP from 2018 draft, promoted to Akron. Not much of a debut either 5 2/3 9 6 6 0 4. Tom HR 12, single, walk; triple in the other game; OPS for June 1006, down slightly from May. Mitch Longo with his best game of the season with 2 homers [that makes 3 for the season] and a double

Chang's 2nd homer in 2 days; good to have his bat back. Johnson's 3rd AAA homer.
Bradley had 2 singles in the DH opener before the 2 HR nightcap. He's 13-31 in his last 8 games, including 7 homeruns. Could be a better time to bring him up to Cleveland? Sandlin retired the two he faced.

Sorry Civ, I thought I was only one up.

Some this and that ...

Our injured young prospect pitcher Burgos (we have two Burgos pitchers and a hitter or two as well) who was injury earlier was throwing on flat ground in Goodyear yesterday.

Bobby Bradley has a 6 game hit streak going, three multiple home run games in his last 6 game, and just hit homers 23 and 24.

Scrappers 1st baseman De Oleo hit a home run out of the ballpark in West Virginia yesterday. And admired his work a bit too long, and opposing catcher let him know when he crossed the plate.

Raymond Burgos, the pitcher, was my breakout pitcher for 2019 and he started pretty well, before he was sidelined.
Steven Kwan was my breakout position player and had a great first month. Now he's settled in at much less than stellar level. He'll be sharing the Lynchburg OF with Benson and Gonzalez.

BA's two cents on yesterday's games. Bradley is not one of their highlighted players of the day since another 2 homer game for him is kind of ho hum by now.
