Here are some amazing numbers:

Batting averages for Indians' outfielders as to the end of 5 innings and the onset of the rain:

LF Jake Bauers 257 3 homers 12 RBI 2 steals 4 doubles 14 walks
CF Jordan Luplow 273 2 homers 2 RBI 1 steal 2 doubles 5 walks
RF Tyler Naquin 271 1 homer 10 RBI 3 steals 5 doubles 5 walks

Nothing to complain about!

Well, on the rise at least.

I do see what they liked about Bauers - he is really athletic/fast. He does have a high ceiling, hope he gets there though.

Bauers has drawn 14 walks, so his OBP is a decent 339. 4doubles 3homers so his SLG is a decent 376. Neither of those stats is major league average, so his WAR is -0.1 but he's close! I think he has promise.

Luplow of course has had a tiny sample so his avg went up something like 50 points after one good day.

Naquin has started drawing some walks, although only 5 of them is why he hits at the bottom of the order and his OBP is 311, 5doubles, 1 homer. SLG 365. Not much different than Bauers, obviously.

Well, doesn't look like any east coast friends stayed up tonight. We have a tight game in the 8th. 3-3.

Anderson did better than last start, but that isn't saying much. 2 earned in 3 innings.

Ramirez came in later and soon after a homer was flying over the fence.

Bauers had a nice opposite field double to knock in our first run. Plawecki later had lead off double and was knocked in by a Lindor sac fly to tie it at 3.

It took Cimber a lot of hard work and over 20 pitches but he finally polishes off the A's in the 8th. Onto 9th, still tied at 3.

For anyone that cares, Mercado had 3 hits and a homer for Columbus tonight. ... Karinchak had 2 K in 1 scoreless inning.

Eli Morgan made his AA debut. 3 hits and 1 earned in 5.1 IP. 9 K. ... Daniel Johnson with 2 homers.

One of our top prospects, Tyler Freeman, had 2 more doubles tonight.

Shame to see all that good pitching go to waste.

HB - I did see that inning where Bauers went the other way. Actually I remember CarGo AND Naquin both doing the same in that innings. Good pieces of hitting but that was about it as I drifted off after that.

The announcers are playing up JRam's on base streak but I have to say I'm pretty stunned he hasn't pulled out of it by now.

If he ever does pull out of it, it's going to be quite the barrage for him to get back to his norm.
