Shoot, I though this was the 8th. Still 2 more innings to go. Carrasco is a bit over 100 pitches. lead off hitter in the 8th is a lefty, so Perez will probably be coming in. Let's score about 5 more now for some breathing room. Exactly what I said at this point last night.

That is the best I've ever seen Allen look when brought in during 8th inning. When he has his curveball going like he did today he's so tough.

Nice 2 game sweep!

And by the way, Aguilar was 0-7 with 4 K in the series. Maybe it is the Jake, and he can't hit there. Cause he never showed anything with us, and isn't showing anything for them against us either.

Nice job by the bullpen guys. It proves the advantage of collecting minor league veterans; never know which ones will work out. At least for awhile the 8th belongs to Perez and Ramirez. Otero and McAllister are back in their roles as middle inning or mop up relievers. How much does Zach earn for that?

HB - Tito mentioned that after the game saying that he thought Cody was "getting the feel" for his curve ball which also builds his confidence.

Totally agree. Hey a season is going to have ups and downs for pretty much everyone (except Kluber of course  ).

Carlos hit a tough patch there but in the end his usual numbers will likely be there - and those are good indeed.

Just fun to see Bauer harness that crazy stuff he has ALWAYS had and become a more consistent performer. And still only 27.
