It's 34 degrees at Los Alamitos horse race track just down the road from Disneyland in Southern California at the moment as I watch the races on TVG.

It is 52 degrees in Chicago, at the moment.

As one who lived over a decade in California, and was there a decade prior on business, that "sunny and warm" California myth is largely bunk if close to the coast most of the year.

Yep, I always look forward to my colonoscopy. For sure. My pants fit better afterwards.

I have an endoscopy in a few weeks. That's tougher to swallow.....

Gaylord, super glad that your polyp was neither 8 or 10.....but be 9.

This is truly Idle Chatter stuff, but I am catching the news that Jodie Foster pretty much came out as gay at The Golden Globes tonight in her speech.

Not that it matters one way or another.

I harken (yes, "harken") back to the month not many years ago that the actor who played Major Winchester on M*A*S*H and the actor who played Niles Crane on Frazier both "came out" and announced publicly they were gay.

When I heard the news of the Major and Niles, I was thinking, "didn't we all know THAT already?"

Same goes for Jodie tonight.

If she feels better now, I'm glad. She's of course a talent.

I can't help but think if all the creepy adulation she received after Taxi Driver might have forced her to the other team. Really. Perhaps temporarily.

I pretty much have accepted that gay guys are born that way and have no choice. That opinion is based mostly on watching male kids who seemed to "run and throw like girls" when I was growing up in a town of 50,000+, and they all turned out later to be gay. If a guy wants to do things a gay guy does, then I think they were innately intent on the behavior.

Girls on the other hand I think can be swayed from team to team through emotion and experimentation thoughts.

That opinion is based upon watching Jimmy Kimmel on "The Man Show" several years ago when he shared his stat that 80% of women have had lesbian thoughts.

Just checking, "yes, I am still in the Idle Chatter folder.".........

The post above might be the most " ignorant " post of all time.
