These guys in the front office have no clue on how to judge talent. We've seen this scenario over and over the past 10 years. This will make the 5th rebuild in the last 10 years. That has got to be some kind of record.
I think the Browns currently hold that record.

We picked up 1/2 game on both The Tiggers and The ChiSux.

Both lost to teams on the outskirts of contention today. Our competitors are soft, and we can still win this thing.....dammit.
So do we have a white flag sale like the Sox did in the 90's or do we get gutsy! 4 pm today will tell the tale.

I'd rather they stand pat than make a stupid deal. Right now, they are capable of winning, but haven't done so consistently. I'm not sure an acquisition such as the Tribe could make would make much difference. I say hang on to all the players, trade Choo in the off-season for major league talent. Keep Pestano and Perez.

Now you know why ATL let him go. We should do the same, NOW!

Lowe came with an owner's manual, and really should never have been stretched beyond 75 to 90 pitches in consecutive games.

I hated seeing him go over 100 pitches in five of his six starts in late April and into early May.

He threw 445 pitches in four starts between April 29 and May 15, and it's been downhill from there for him.

That's on Acta.

I guess there is little chance Lowe could be traded. Is there a starter on the farm who deserves a gallon of coffee? Maybe Lowe could become the garbage man, if there is an obvious choice in the pen to demote/trade/force to wash his truck.

Derek "six weeks" Lowe needs to be released, banished to long relief, or sent to rest up for the stretch on the DL. His games are out of reach before the fans settle in their seats.

Hard to believe they will eat his contract. They are still munching on Wheeler and Sizemore's contracts.
