So you would rather see the CWS win?
If they are playing the Red Sox, hell yeah !
So the Red Sox losing is more important to you than the Indians losing ground in the standings? What if it were the last day of the season, and we needed the Bosox to win for the Indians to make the playoffs?
Are you serious ? Don't like the Red Sox or their fans. They waste a lot of time making up silly questions.

I also sort of liked the Boston Red Sox as a kid. I read the biography of Ted Williams, and really liked the players on the 1967 club. I had no problem with the Red Sox at all, and actually attended double digit games at Fenway when in Boston over the years. I was there the night Mike Greenwell hit for the cycle.

I was at Fenway in the stands with the players wives when we blew the 2 game to none playoff lead, which I normally think of as "the curse of Pluto."

I haven't cared for the Red Sox a bit since 1999.

Santana hit by a 98 mph pitch and is hurting. Looks like the back of the elbow or tricep of his right arm.

Good news is that he is on first, and the tying run can come to the plate.....

But Shelley Duncan swings like Sandy and breaks his bat sending a soft line to the pitcher who doubled Santana off.

And now we have another base runner on the Kotchman single....

And Hafner PH's and hits the first pitch to the right fielder on the fly to end the game.

Win tomorrow.

Brantley, our cleanup hitter!!, with a leadoff triple in the second.

Regrettably, however, no one else in the lineup is a major league hitter, until we get back to the top of the order. As you'd expect the following ensues:

Santana struck out swinging.
Hafner grounded out to second.
Duncan grounded out to first.
Brantley heads back out to CF.

This team does not belong in the major leagues. Antonetti and Shapiro and Dolan deserve all the credit.

You know you are in trouble when the leadoff man (Brantley) triples, Santana strikes out, Hafner grounds out to second, and Damon grounds out to first resulting in zero runs.

Beat me to it Civ! Whatever happened to Carlos Santana on his way to Cleveland?

Since I don't get to see the games anymore, does Santana still have that toe tap going on?
