Re: GameTime!™
7552and Brantley drove on in with a single, and Casey at the Bat with a fielder's choice. Sox got one back in the 3rd. Tribe on top 3-2 in the bottom of the 3rd.
Who went away to make room for ZachMac? Who gets the promotion for the nightcap?
I've read that there's a lot of interest in a rule tht allows temporary roster increase for a couple days around all DHs. As the rules stand now, we have to demote someone to add McAllister and the optioned player has to stay in the minors for a minimum of I think 10 days.

Re: GameTime!™
7554Maybe they changed the rule while I wasn't looking. Indians.com currently shows 26 on the 25 man roster including McAllister/
Re: GameTime!™
75553 on 1 out with Brantley again getting the chance to bring some runs in. Not my choice, but he did OK the first time today.
Re: GameTime!™
7556Brantley is the man today! 2 run double and it's 5-2 against the perfect pitcher Mr. Humber. Now Kotchman with a chance to give us a bigger edge
Re: GameTime!™
7557Hard to believe that this is the same Humber that pitched a perfect game a couple weeks ago!
7-2, us, now!
7-2, us, now!

• Teams are going to be allowed to expand to a 26-man roster for day-night doubleheaders -- assuming those doubleheaders are scheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. That's a recommendation of Bud Selig's special committee for on-field matters.
Re: GameTime!™
7559OMG! Kotchum follows with his own double and it's 7-2. Sox bullpen will get a eaten up this game or else Humber gets to take one for his team.
Re: GameTime!™
7560That's it for Humber after he walks Hannahan. 7 runs, 9 hits in 2 1/3 innings; and he leaves 2 men on. Season ERA is 6.51 even with a perfect game! in one of his 5 starts.
