I know the party line when the Jimenez trade was made was that we dealt "our two best prospects," but is there any objective reason to believe Alex White is a better prospect than Jeanmar Gomez? They're about the same age (I think Gomez is about 6 months older), and when it comes to performance at the major league level, it's not even close.


That was some lineup the Twins ran out there today. Cuddyer had to be wondering "When did I get sent to AA?"

It's certainly an interesting situation regarding that trade. Antonetti and co. decided that the Indians window of opportunity did not include Pomeranz and White and yet the Rockies already have both pitching in the big leagues.

Only two players hitting over .275 in the lineup. Ichiro is one hitting .273. Huff not doing well against this potent lineup. I hope this is not his best stuff.
