Thanks VT'er. I assumed because of his lack of "stuff" that he was a "pound-em into the ground" kind of guy.
Sucks living in Detroit. I don't see the Tribe very often.
You know what they say about "assume".

5058Eh. 4-1. Was 2-1 but tomlin gave up back 2 back jacks.
Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
Re: GameTime!™
5059Tomlin gives up back to back home runs on the 1st pitch in both at bats in the 7th.
4-1 now.
4-1 now.
Re: GameTime!™
5062Well, tomorrow Cleveland can beat the Tigers and The Lions.
2 1/2 out starting August 20th is still an enviable place to be in the 2011 season.
EDIT: Oh, heck...we are beating The Lions NOW. Somehow I thought The Browns had a Saturday game this weekend.

5064Well, Tough loss!
How many times this season have we seen the pitching staff give up 4 or fewer runs in a ballgame and lose? Too often for me.
In this league, if you keep the opposition under 5 runs a ballgame, you should come out on top more often than not. I think we have to bear with this offense the rest of the season. It just doesn't appear that things are going to change much.
Coming into this series, an Indian sweep was not out of the question. Obviously, that won't happen now. Personally, I'm just hoping to pick up one win and avoid a Tiger sweep. Two wins would be icing on my cake.

5065Well! Texas nailed the Sox tonight by a count of 7-4. That's a good thing.

5066Tomorrow is another day.
The focus is on Cleveland Indians winning baseball from here until October.
