Pestano was already over 20 pitches and had been up in the pen earlier before the 9th began. No way was he likely to pitch tomorrow anyhow.
He takes Wednesday off after 39 tonight, and he's good for Thursday.

4918Sipp and LaPorta were converging on fielding and covering first on the long bunt.
LaPorta fielded and tagged the runner through Sipp, but the ump calls the runner safe.
LaPorta said he got the tag, and I think he's believable.
Replays were somewhat inconclusive.
Acta argues to no avail.
