The Cleveland Guardians have activated OF Lane Thomas from the 10-day injured list and placed OF Will Brennan on the 10-day injured list.

Cleveland 23-year-old OF prospect Chase DeLauter has completed his rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League.

DeLauter will be activated off the injured list at Triple-A Columbus and join them in their current home series vs Iowa in the next couple days.

On a team that everyone gets a chance J Rod can not get on the team. Geez, give it a break ! If the kid makes it great but do not act like the FO and manager have not let you know where they stand.

Keep seeing the name of Nick Mitchell rehabbing with DeLauter and Fry in Arizona. Got to admit I was like who is Nick Mitchell ? Mitchell is another plyer we got in the Blue Jays trade. Future Class A undersized corner outfielder with good contact numbers.

Fry ready in a couple of weeks. Can only DH so how will that work ?

Cecconi looked pretty good for a spot start. Showed a lot of movement. Struck out half of the batters he faced and did not walk a batter. Looks like that trade might not be as bad as some people thought. Now you can understand why multiple teams were trying to acquire him,

The Guardians placed Ben Lively (right flexor tendor strain) on the 15-day IL and recalled Zak Kent from Triple-A Columbus.

Could be Thomas and Martinez against left handers and Jones and Brennan against right handers. Noel down.

Outside possibility. Platoon of Brennan and Jones from left side. Thomas and Noel right side. Martinez down.
